Short Bio:
Dr Tsubasa Shinohara is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tsukuba (Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences). In parallel, he works at the Swiss Esports Federation (SESF) as a Human Rights Officer and Executive Team Member. He obtained a PhD in Law and Master of Law at the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) and a Master of Law and Bachelor of Law at the Meiji University (Japan). His main research interests include international human rights law, especially “sports/esports and human rights”, sports/esports law, and technology and law.

Short Bio:
Michael Weber obtained a Master of Laws and a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Zurich (Switzerland) after completing vocational education and training as an information technologist (Swiss Federal Diploma). In 2024, he passed the Zurich bar exam and qualified as a lawyer. Currently, he is a PhD candidate at the University of Zurich, combining his expertise as a lawyer and information technologist in his research on AI, big data, and criminal procedure, and works as In-House Counsel at Recursive.AI in Tokyo, Japan.
